Patient Care Assistant

Job Summary:
As a Patient Care Assistant at Baptist Memorial Health Care, you will provide personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel. Your responsibilities will include performing direct patient care duties, assisting with procedures, and ensuring patient safety.
Responsibilities:
Perform direct patient care duties as assigned under the direction of licensed nursing personnel.
Assist in the performance of procedures for the patient population served in a manner that is consistent with established policies and procedures.
Provide for patient safety.
Participate in ongoing educational activities.
Complete assigned goals.
Requirements:
Minimum: Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
Licensure, Registration, Certification: Minimum: CPR.
Special Skills: Minimum: Computer literacy.
