POSITION SUMMARY

Under close supervision, the role involves executing a range of straightforward to moderately complex tasks by adhering to detailed work instructions that necessitate limited judgment and decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and data tracking for feeders.
  • Instruct personnel on the operation and upkeep of machinery.
  • May assist in training and coordinating activities of Maintenance Assistants.

Additional Responsibilities May Include:

  • Diagnosing issues in malfunctioning electro-mechanical equipment utilized in the manufacturing process.
  • Dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and assembling equipment based on layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, rough sketches, or drawings.
  • Employing testing and diagnostic tools for equipment checkouts.
  • Potentially working overtime as required.
  • Adhering to all procedures outlined in the company security policy.
  • Carrying out other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Ability to acquire job skills and understand company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Familiarity with basic and specialized hand tools and leveling instruments, including knowledge of torque specifications.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Understanding of electronic color codes and component value markings.
  • Awareness of safety practices and requirements.
  • Competence in personal computer operation in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email).
  • Experience with specialized maintenance tracking software.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree in electronics with a focus on servo positioning theory or a related field.
  • Prior experience as a Maintenance Assistant may be considered.
  • Zero to two years of relevant work experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment involving electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
