The Licensing division at Nutanix comprises 14 professionals dispersed across various locations. Our team has achieved notable milestones, including optimizing the licensing workflow and ensuring regulatory compliance. Your Responsibilities:
- Validate functional specifications for multi-tier applications, including responsive user interfaces, backend services, and data repositories. This includes testing applications deployed on both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Create automated test scripts utilizing Python, Selenium/Puppeteer, and Jenkins to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Work closely with the product management team to convert requirements into comprehensive, high-quality test plans and cases.
- Contribute to the development of clean, stable, and bug-free code by adhering to industry best practices and methodologies such as iterative development, continuous delivery, and release management.
- Assume leadership roles, establishing goals and objectives for the initial year and striving to achieve them.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of web technologies, including HTTP/S, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and JSON.
- Ability to identify and employ the most suitable automation tools for testing requirements.
- Experience in automated testing of RESTful web services is essential.
- Capability to develop a testing strategy, write test plans, and create detailed test cases.
- Solid understanding of testing principles, processes, and the ability to produce test documentation.
- Proficiency in developing clean and maintainable automated tests for both user interface and backend components.
- Demonstrate passion and ownership of the quality of applications managed by the team.
- Ability to develop strong domain knowledge and contribute to product-level decision-making.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required.
- 1-3 years of experience in creating automated tests using tools such as Selenium or Puppeteer, Python, Jenkins, and Maven.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like PyTest, PyUnit, Jasmine, or Mocha is preferred.

Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position at the start of employment is between USD $92,800 and USD $184,800 annually. However, the actual base salary may vary based on various individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional elements such as a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards, along with a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the position offered.

If hired, the employee will be in an 'at-will position,' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary and any other discretionary payment or compensation program at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or departmental performance, and market factors.
