Adolescent Medicine Specialist

Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU is committed to advancing excellence in clinical care, education, and research within the Division of Adolescent Medicine.
This physician position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a model academic unit dedicated to addressing the healthcare needs of adolescents. The successful candidate will share responsibilities for education and clinical care in an academic outpatient adolescent health service, with opportunities for collaboration with other departments and community outreach.
The ideal candidate will possess teaching and mentorship skills, with experience in guiding Residents and Chief Residents in Adolescent Medicine. Additionally, they should have a working knowledge of basic research methods and be able to participate in clinical, translational, and outcomes research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Faculty member will provide guidance and mentorship to Residents and Chief Residents in Adolescent Medicine.
- Research: Faculty member will have working knowledge in basic research methods and be able to participate in clinical, translational, and outcomes research.
- Clinical: Faculty member will provide oversight for clinical activities of the division of Adolescent Medicine in support of the clinical mission of CHoR of VCU Health system.
Estimated Salary Range: $200,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
