Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer DevOps to join our team at Insight Global. As a Cloud Engineer DevOps, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-based systems and infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools
  • Ensure system security and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineers with less experience

Requirements

  • 5 years of IT and/or software experience
  • DOD 8570 IAT Level II required (Level III preferred)
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Chef, Ansible, BOSH, or related automation/orchestration tools
  • Participated in or led agile development teams
  • In-depth understanding of DevOps methodologies
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Concourse, Spinnaker, Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity
  • Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi/NSX-T
  • Experience with networking and related technologies
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience in release management
  • Experience supporting production systems using Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and OpenStack
  • Experience with a platform as a service product such as Cloud Foundry, Heroku, Elastic Beanstalk, or similar
  • Experience working with DNS, NTP, SAML, OAuth 2, Active Directory
  • Understanding of systems monitoring, alerting, and analytics
