Job Summary
Crown Lift Trucks is seeking a highly skilled Senior SMT Process Engineer to lead our manufacturing engineering team in the development and implementation of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) processes.
About the Role
As a Senior SMT Process Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Programming and optimizing SMT manufacturing equipment, including laser marking, screen printing, and automated inspection systems.
- Leading improvements to operations through manufacturing engineering analysis, focusing on capacity, cost reduction, and safety.
- Developing and implementing cross-functional project management skills to drive process improvements.
- Coordinating the introduction of new equipment, including procurement, installation, and process capability prove-out.
- Leading and managing the plant's technological drive of electronic processes, providing leadership and developing other manufacturing engineers and technicians.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A four-year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive project management experience, with a strong background in manufacturing engineering.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer and organizational skills, with knowledge of J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards.
