Position Overview

Oates Associates is a 100% employee-owned civil and structural engineering firm dedicated to improving our community. Our team focuses on designing solutions that have a positive impact on our region.

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to enhance and support our expanding team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop proposals across various sectors, including writing, editing, and production.
  • Create project descriptions, press releases, and social media content.
  • Design interview presentations and collaborate with the interview team.
  • Maintain the CRM database and update the company website.
  • Manage social media postings for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Assist business development professionals through market research.
  • Plan and coordinate events.
  • Perform additional tasks to support engineering and administrative staff.
Qualifications
  • 0-3+ years of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize new programs and design tools, particularly Adobe Creative Suite applications like InDesign.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong writing and organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capable of working collaboratively with engineers as well as independently.
