Grocery Vendor Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vendor Manager to join our Amazon Fresh team. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for leading multiple facets of our omni-channel retail business, including vendor negotiations, joint business planning, and strategic relationship development.
Key Responsibilities- Own the P&L for multiple grocery vendors, focusing on growing categories and customer baskets, as well as improving vendor profitability.
- Develop strategic relationships and joint business plans with suppliers to ensure early insight into new trends and products, early and exclusive access to new items, merchandising and promotions investment, and competitive costs.
- Drive winning negotiations and represent Amazon when meeting with vendor senior leadership.
- Lead a cross-functional team, including Marketing, Instock, Merchandising, and Amazon Advertising, to drive superior vendor results.
- Continuously audit to improve the customer experience and business performance.
- 3+ years of experience with Excel.
- 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience.
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements.
- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
