Job Title: Senior Network Account Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Network Account Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality network services and customer satisfaction at the American Association of Motor Vehicles. This position is responsible for managing external customer accounts, providing network solutions, and ensuring the delivery of services meets customer needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work with vendors and internal teams to deploy SDWAN across multiple sites.
  2. Monitor and optimize SDWAN performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
  3. Develop and maintain documentation for SDWAN configurations and procedures.
  4. Design, deploy, and manage SDWAN cloud-based network solutions.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with assigned external customer accounts.
  6. Provide day-to-day technical account management and support for assigned external customers.
  7. Develop network solutions for new and existing customers.
  8. Apply project management principles and service delivery processes to ensure goals and timelines are met.
  9. Function as a consultative expert in network services.
  10. Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to streamline and enhance network service delivery and support.
  11. Perform AAMVA firewall and customer premises router configuration updates.
  12. Support connectivity to all AAMVA central sites.
  13. Provide second-level help desk support for network services and connectivity-related issues.
  14. Identify and anticipate customer needs and expectations.
  15. Log, track, and manage all work using internal ticketing tools.
  16. Maintain up-to-date customer information in internal customer site tracking tools.
  17. Provide network reports to customers and management as required.
  18. Develop staff and customer training materials and conduct training and consultation as needed.
  19. Act as a liaison to technical committees as required.
  20. Perform tasks of other Network Services team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • 8 years designing, implementing, and managing SDWAN and cloud network infrastructure.
  • 8 years experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors to deploy SDWAN and Cloud technologies.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with MPLS networks, Verizon Private IP preferred.
  • Ten years experience in wide area networking (WAN) technologies and protocols, including in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and firewalls.
  • Ten years experience in information technology, some of which is in application development.
  • Working knowledge of wide area network protocols.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the application of project management principles.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the application of service delivery processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Diligently documenting all work in a tracking system.
  • Independently researching and resolving technical problems.
  • Working outside of standard business days/hours as required in support of customer business.
