Cooling Quality/Test Engineer

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is a leading provider of diversified services, and we are seeking a skilled Cooling Quality/Test Engineer to join our team in Peoria, IL. As a Cooling Quality/Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, set up, execute tests, and analyze results to ensure the quality and reliability of cooling systems.
  • Develop deep technical competency in machine systems and thermodynamic systems.
  • Collaborate with a small team of Cooling Engineers and Machine Validation Engineers to review designs, develop test plans, and prepare instrumentation.
  • Communicate results and recommendations to Product Design teams.
  • Support the experienced Cooling Engineers by overseeing test set up and execution.
  • Take ownership of planning and delivering projects as capability is demonstrated.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering curriculum that includes Thermodynamics (aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.).
  • 5-7 years' experience in a related field.
  • Good understanding of Thermodynamic systems.
  • Knowledge with instrumentation like thermocouples, pressure transducers, flow meters, etc.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and fixing mechanical systems.
  • High initiative, good communication, and strong teamwork.
  • Ability to perform physical work (climb machines, turn wrenches, etc.).
