Job Overview:


The Lead Procurement Analyst will take charge of the procurement initiatives at Futurex, concentrating on strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and effective cost management.

This role is pivotal in crafting and executing procurement strategies that enhance technology investments while ensuring a seamless supply of goods and services essential for our operations.


Core Responsibilities:
Formulate and execute procurement strategies to guarantee cost-efficient acquisition of IT hardware, software, and services.

Steer the negotiation process with vendors to obtain competitive pricing and advantageous terms.

Maintain and nurture relationships with key suppliers and vendors, conducting regular assessments to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

Collaborate with IT and other departments to comprehend their procurement requirements and specifications.

Conduct market analysis to remain updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Oversee the procurement cycle from requisition to receipt, including order placement, tracking, and verification of delivery and invoice accuracy.

Ensure adherence to company policies, legal standards, and ethical practices in all procurement activities.

Establish and sustain a supplier management program that evaluates performance, risk, and procurement efficiencies.

Implement cost-reduction initiatives and negotiate contracts that optimize expenditures.

Prepare and deliver reports on procurement activities, savings, and challenges to senior management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, particularly in an IT or technology-driven environment.

Strong knowledge of IT products and services, including software licensing, hardware procurement, and cloud services.

Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Proficient in procurement software and tools.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to work effectively across all organizational levels.

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.

Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is preferred.

Working Conditions:
