Lead Procurement Strategist

As a Lead Procurement Strategist at Futurex, you will spearhead procurement efforts with an emphasis on strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost efficiency. Your position will be crucial in formulating and executing procurement strategies aimed at maximizing technology investments and ensuring the uninterrupted supply of goods and services essential for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate cost-efficient procurement strategies for IT hardware, software, and services
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and advantageous terms
• Maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements
• Collaborate with various departments to assess their procurement requirements
• Conduct market analysis to remain informed about industry trends and technologies
• Oversee the complete procurement process from requisition to delivery
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and ethical practices
• Implement cost-reduction initiatives and enhance expenditure through contract negotiations
• Develop supplier management programs to assess performance and risks
• Prepare and present procurement activity reports to senior management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, IT, or a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in an IT or technology-oriented environment
• Proficiency in IT products/services, contract negotiation, and supplier management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Familiarity with procurement tools and software
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management is advantageous
