Job Overview

We are a leading mental health clinic, Turnwell Mental Health Network, seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Rockwall, Texas. Our clinic provides face-to-face and telepsychiatry services to patients in multiple organizations, rehabilitation centers, and detox facilities throughout Arizona.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive atmosphere for patients, communicating effectively with patients and providers, and assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a welcoming environment for patients
  • Communicate professionally and efficiently with patients and healthcare providers
  • Assist with check-in and check-out processes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Perform various administrative tasks including data entry and billing
  • Ensure confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant
  • Knowledge of general office equipment and software
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
