Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our team at Entering Wellness Mental Health, LLC. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic services to adults and children in the family home, community settings, and office environment.

About the Role:

As a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), you will be responsible for delivering strengths-based trainings using evidence-based curriculums to help clients develop skills for independent living. You will work closely with our Case Manager to provide Skill Training & Development, Medication Training & Support Services, and Crisis Intervention Services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide skill-building training in the home or community: one-on-one skills sessions at home, office, or community locations relating to goals and objectives using evidence-based practices and curriculums.
  • Support and provide crisis/emergency services for the child/family through face-to-face contact, phone contact, or on-call system documentation.
  • Maintain all client documentation in the electronic record and write progress notes adhering to Texas Administrative Code requirements.
  • Utilize effective listening skills to establish rapport with clients, family members, and other individuals close to the client; provide emotional support and encouragement, and engage family members in the service process.
  • Maintain records in accordance with regulatory/agency standards, entering data in a clear, accurate, and timely manner, and submitting documentation needed for tracking output/outcome measures.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum number of hours equivalent to a major in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention. A registered nurse qualification is also required.

Working Conditions:

The QMHP will generally perform the job in the office, community, and home environment. In some instances, the QMHP may be required to transport clients, ensuring a safe environment for service provision.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000, based on location and industry standards.
