Job Summary

As an Administrative Supervisor at Stanford University, you will serve as a key liaison between the supervisor, department manager, or chair, and the administrative team. Your primary responsibility will be to establish priorities and identify and resolve problems that are administrative in nature.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act on behalf of the supervisor, department manager, or chair in regards to establishing priorities and identifying and resolving problems that are administrative in nature.
  • Oversee and/or perform duties associated with scheduling, organizing, and operational aspects of administrative functions.
  • Develop and implement effective administrative processes and procedures to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Provide exceptional support to the administrative team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks and projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve administrative issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative software applications.
