Job Summary

The City of Marion is a welcoming community that prioritizes care and belonging among its residents. As a Registered Nurse in our Community Living Center, you will play a vital role in creating a home-like environment and providing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual support to our residents.

Responsibilities

As a Community Living Center RN, you will be responsible for evaluating clinical practice, initiating change based on current concepts and findings from research and/or evidence-based studies. You will also perform diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures appropriate to the CLC's practice setting. Additionally, you will provide leadership in interpreting, supporting, and implementing Medical Center and Nursing Department philosophy, policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and quality improvement processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current license in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth in the U.S. or the District of Columbia. You will also need to have current certification in BLS and ACLS by an American Health Association Vendor. A minimum of one year experience within the last three years is also required.
