Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides designated and specified patient care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Records graphics, intake, and output, and ADL's accurately and implements measures to promote a safe environment.
  • Institutes appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a patient's condition and prevent complications.
  • Communicates and interacts effectively with patients and their families based on sensitivity to psychosocial needs.

Required Education and Experience: 6 months - 1 year related experience
Required License/Certifications: BLS Certification and unit-specific competencies obtained within six months of hire or transfer date.
