We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Supervisor to join our team at Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and directing the daily operations of the Imaging Department, ensuring timely completion of patient exams and efficient patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and direct the daily operations of the Imaging Department, ensuring timely completion of patient exams and efficient patient care.
- Supervise the imaging, ultrasound, mammography, and CT modalities within the Mooresville Imaging Center.
- Perform all clinical exams in the appropriate modality as needed throughout the day.
- Oversee the QA/QC requirements within the department.
- Assist with scheduling for diagnostic radiology.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, with current and updated registry before the expiration date.
- Associates Degree required, with Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Associated Health Science preferred.
- 5 years experience as a technologist or in a leadership position.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to effectively deal with patients, families, hospital staff, and physicians.
- Excellent computer, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, prioritize work, and complete multiple sequential tasks in a process. Excellent attention to details.
- Works well under stressful conditions and able to handle a variety of work situations with frequent interruptions and still meet deadlines.
- Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position, including walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Reports to Director of Radiology and Assistant Director of Radiology
