We are seeking an experienced Therapeutic Recreation Specialist to join our interdisciplinary team at Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered care to individuals with neurological injuries or disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat neuro-rehab patients, including planning and coordinating recreation activities, functional leisure skills, and leisure education.
- Assess patients' capabilities, interests, and barriers to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Monitor progress and recommend changes or modifications to programs as needed.
- Perform home assessments and assist patients with transitioning to home and community settings.
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation and CTRS designation.
- Experience in treating neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with families, professionals, and colleagues.
