AnthroMed Education is a provider of Special Education services to schools across the Chicagoland area. Our team is dedicated to providing students with the resources and support they need to succeed. We are seeking a qualified School Counselor to join our team.
Position Overview:
We have a full-time School Counselor opening in a growing and highly supportive school in South Holland, Illinois. The successful candidate will work with 4th-5th grade students, providing counseling services and support to help them achieve academic and personal success.
Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling services to students, including individual and group sessions.
- Develop and implement SEL lessons for students.
- Support a caseload of 9 or less students.
- Collaborate with the school social worker and other staff members to provide a comprehensive support system for students.
- Participate in recess duty and hold 1:1 sessions for students during lunch.
- Help the school team with various topics of the month using the Second Step program.
Requirements:
- A Master's Degree is required.
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Counselor endorsement is required.
