Job Overview
Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve end-user challenges as Tier II support escalated through IT Service Management.
  • Apply updates and conduct regular maintenance to meet security and operational requirements.
  • Observe systems for irregularities and execute root cause investigations.
  • Record all modifications to testing, operational, and cloud settings according to client and Department of Defense protocols.
  • Execute Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs) for change management and system improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to all Department of Defense security standards.
  • Work collaboratively with various IT teams to address user and system challenges.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree along with 2-4 years of experience in operational Linux settings. Additional logistics experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification.
  • Current TS/SCI clearance with the capability to obtain and sustain a CI Poly.
Essential Experience:
  • Creation, modification, and troubleshooting of end-user accounts.
  • Familiarity with REDHAT Linux and its variants.
  • Expertise in shell scripting and Linux command line environments.
  • Experience in utilizing shell scripting for consistent processes.
  • Understanding of SELINUX with intermediate skills in its setup and management.
  • Knowledge of Ansible for securing operating systems and maintaining configuration management baselines.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms.
  • Ability to automate tasks using basic scripting languages (e.g., Bourne, Korn, Python).
  • Implemented security protocols in compliance with Department of Defense regulations.
  • Managed, created, and modified file systems.
  • Experience in installing Linux operating systems.
  • Thorough understanding of command line interface fundamentals.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with DISA and its support to mission partners.
  • TS/SCI with CI Poly preferred.
  • Red Hat Linux certification.
  • AWS Certifications.
