About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a key member of our inter-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical tasks and duties within the scope of your expertise and training.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
  • Record, maintain, and distribute patient information and documents.
  • Assist with staff education and training as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients, addressing their psychological, emotional, and physical needs.
  • Maintain a safe environment, reporting and addressing any environmental hazards or patient safety concerns.
  • Work effectively with team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
