Position Overview: We are in search of a dedicated and proactive Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team within a prominent organization.

Role Requirements: This position is diverse in nature, and we are particularly interested in candidates with a solid background in mechanical engineering maintenance.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is advantageous; however, we welcome applications from both Welsh and English speakers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in diagnosing issues with complex building services, machinery, and equipment.
  • Work independently and take initiative in resolving technical challenges.
  • Possess knowledge of systems including water, steam, boilers, emergency generators, and ventilation.

You will also be part of an on-call rota for after-hours support.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have completed a formal craft apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering and ideally hold an academic qualification equivalent to a Higher National Certificate in Engineering.
