About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Allegheny General Hospital's 8C Unit. As a Surgical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to complex, advanced patients with trauma, general surgery, plastics, urology, and ENT conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan care for patients with trauma and surgical conditions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Current PA licensure as a RN or Temporary Practice Permit
  • CPR certification
  • Minimum one year recent nursing experience
  • Certification in area of specialty (preferred)
