Cyber Security Consultant

Education Requirements:
A bachelor's degree is required, while a master's degree in cybersecurity or information security is preferred. Previous experience with Big 4 accounting firms, particularly in audit roles, is also highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular assessments and audits of the organization's information systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Monitor and evaluate compliance with internal security policies, standards, and procedures. Identify and assess security risks related to non-compliance. Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures. Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and standards that affect the organization.
Essential Skills:
CISA certification, financial sector experience, and experience working with one of the Big 4 accounting firms are must-haves. Additionally, candidates should have expertise in audit and assessments, compliance assessment, testing and validation, information/technology security, and written and verbal communication.
Desirable Skills:
CISSP and CRISC certifications, as well as a master's degree in cybersecurity or information security, are highly desirable. These qualifications demonstrate a strong foundation in cybersecurity and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
