What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced Cyber Defense Product Visionary to drive the development and delivery of our security operations center (SOC), vulnerability management solutions, and Application Security. As a key member of our cyber defense and response organization, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product requirements, manage the product backlog, and ensure the successful delivery of our cyber defense solutions.



Job Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed, prioritized, and ready for development sprints.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity analysts and engineers, to ensure the successful delivery of product features and enhancements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the development team, providing clear and concise requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct regular planning, review, and retrospective meetings to ensure efficient and effective product development.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any potential issues or roadblocks.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to define the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cyber defense and response, incorporating them into product development processes.


The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Defense Product Visionary with a strong background in Agile product ownership and a passion for cybersecurity. Our ideal candidate will have:




  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as an Agile Product Owner in a cyber defense and response organization.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including security operations center (SOC) and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, are a plus.

Location

Ally is a remote-friendly company, and this role can be performed from anywhere in the United States. However, occasional travel to our headquarters or other locations may be required.



Estimated Salary

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
