Culturally Responsive Educator

The Curriculum Specialist is a key member of the IRCO team, responsible for developing and implementing culturally responsive curriculum for elementary and middle school-aged youth.
As part of the INSPIRE program, you will work closely with the INSPIRE Coordinator to research and develop curriculum that aligns with program goals and objectives. This includes co-creating group activities, wellness plans, and social emotional learning activities that are culturally relevant and meaningful to youth participants.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, social work, or international studies, with experience working with diverse populations and managing student behavior. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate attendance records, tracking program data, and participating in staff meetings and training sessions.
**Key Qualifications:
- B.A./B.S. or higher degree in education, social work, international studies, or related field
- Experience tutoring and/or instructing children or youth
- Experience working with populations whose native language is not English, students and staff from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to pass a school criminal background check and fingerprint check
**Salary:** $23.37 per hour (12 hours per week)
