The Senior Market Finance Analyst plays a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting market data to enhance operational efficiency and improve member experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze diverse market data to establish connections between operational effectiveness and financial results.
- Collaborate with various departments including Finance, Provider Contracting, and Actuarial to support strategic initiatives.
- Utilize advanced tools such as Excel, SQL, and SAS to extract data, generate key performance reports, and develop insightful data visualizations.
- Present clear and concise insights to business partners, aiding in informed decision-making.
- Work closely with Regional Leadership to transform complex financial and non-financial data into actionable information.
- Design and maintain data models for ad-hoc analyses to facilitate strategic planning.
- Monitor utilization reports and act as a primary responder to emerging trends.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with SAS or SQL
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
- MBA, CPA, or background in Actuarial science
- Experience with PowerBI or Tableau
The estimated compensation range for this position is $76,800 - $105,800 annually, based on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for a bonus incentive plan, contingent on individual and company performance.
