Job Summary

Advanced Radiology Consultants is seeking a skilled Bone Densitometry Technologist to join our team in Stamford. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will perform diagnostic Dexa procedures, review necessary documentation, and perform related clinical duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate radiographic equipment and perform bone density procedures.
  • Review documentation and perform related clinical duties.
  • Perform preventative visual and manual inspections to ensure equipment maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Assist in managing procedures and coordinating resources.
  • Perform warm-up calibration procedures and assist in procurement of necessary supplies.
  • Inform the manager of any equipment needing repair.
  • Contribute to a positive climate and open communication.
  • Maintain certification and licensure, as well as continuing education.

Requirements:

  • College degree preferred.
  • ARRT (RT)(R) and CT State License required.
  • ARRT (RT)(R)(M)(BD) preferred.
