Stamford Health is looking for a Full-time Multi-Modality Tech to join the out-patient radiology department

Provides a variety of high-quality diagnostic procedures specific to the radiology modalities assigned. This can include but is not limited to: X-ray, CT Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, MRI or/and Ultrasound. Technologist performs a wide variety of procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational protocols and standards consistent with each modality. Operates equipment, digital imaging software (PACS), prepares patient room, equipment, supplies, and contrast media when it applies. Evaluates digital images, critiques images and performs duties of a Radiologic Technologist.

Qualifications

Requires a valid Radiology license from the State of Connecticut. Certifications in specific modalities employed as detailed by the modality job descriptions and be operating within those certifications based on departmental need. CPR certified. Annual certification must be maintained as specified by each of the modalities.
