About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Stamford Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures using X-ray, CT Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, MRI, and Ultrasound equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Evaluate digital images to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Radiology license from the State of Connecticut
  • Certifications in specific modalities employed, as detailed by the modality job descriptions
  • CPR certification
