Principal Engineer, Structural Analysis

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer, Structural Analysis to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of structural analysis techniques and tools to support the design and testing of aircraft seating systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement finite element analysis (FEA) models and simulations to analyze the structural behavior of aircraft seating systems
- Lead the development of structural analysis tools and techniques to support the design and testing of aircraft seating systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate structural analysis into the design and testing process
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to support the structural analysis process
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in structural analysis and FEA
- Strong knowledge of FEA software and tools, including Altair HyperMesh and MSC Patran
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
