Job Description:

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) II is a key member of our clinical team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our office, hospital, and community settings. This role requires a strong foundation in advanced nursing practice, with a focus on conducting examinations, determining plans of care, and writing prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive clinical assessments, medical decisions, and plans of care for patients in our office and community settings.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care and referrals.
  • Accurately and thoroughly document patient information in their medical records.
  • Participate in billing and coding processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies.
  • Develop and deliver education sessions for patients and their support systems on disease management, treatment, and supportive care.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
  • Successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as a nurse practitioner from an approved program.
  • Current valid and unrestricted license to practice as an APRN in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
