Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled APRN/Physician Assistant to join our team at Baptist Health Medical Group. As an Advanced Practice Clinician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and specialty care to patients in a variety of settings, including clinics and hospitals.
  • Conduct thorough physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and successful completion of an accredited APRN program.
  • Terminal degree in the APRN field is preferred.
  • National certification from the appropriate national certifying agency for the particular APRN.
  • Must maintain national certification.
  • Eligible for professional liability insurance at all times.
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice as an APRN in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
  • BCLS required through the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS as required for the position.
