APRN II - Have a Heart Clinic
Job Summary:
The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) II is a key member of the Have a Heart Clinic team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to teamwork and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough clinical assessments, develop plans of care, and prescribe medications as needed. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
2. Provide education and support to patients and their families, addressing disease management, treatment options, and supportive care. Serve as a resource for clinical staff, patients, and caregivers.
3. Participate in billing and coding processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies, as well as Baptist Health and Have a Heart Clinic policies.
4. Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, promoting excellence in patient care and clinical practice.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Nursing, successful completion of advanced practitioner training, and certification as a nurse practitioner. A valid and unrestricted license to practice as an APRN in the Commonwealth of Kentucky is required. BLS and ACLS certification is also necessary.
