Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient service and support in a multi-specialty women's health setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely information to patients regarding their accounts and billing.
  • Schedule patient appointments and register patients, ensuring all necessary demographic data is collected and updated.
  • Obtain and verify patient insurance information, including coordination of benefits and pre-certification/prior-authorization.
  • Collect patient payments and provide accurate receipts, posting payments in the system and reconciling receipts.
  • Maintain department and individual work queues, reporting as required.
  • Prepare medical records for patient appointments, scanning documents as needed.
  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Healthcare, adhering to service behavior standards.
Requirements
  • One year of customer service experience, with interactions in person and by phone.
  • Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated basic computer skills and data entry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
Work Environment

This role is based in Lafayette, Colorado, and requires the ability to interact with others, operate computers and office equipment, and remain sitting or standing for long periods.
