This position is responsible for providing exceptional patient service and support in a multi-specialty women's health setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient service, including greeting patients, answering phones, and responding to patient inquiries.
- Schedule patient appointments, register patients, and verify demographic data.
- Obtain insurance information, verify benefits, and obtain authorizations as required.
- Collect patient payments, provide accurate receipts, and post payments in the system.
- Maintain accurate and complete records, including patient account notes and medical records.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining department and individual work queues and reports.
- One year of customer service experience, with interactions with customers in person and by phone.
- Professional manner, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated basic computer skills and data entry.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
This position is located in a healthcare setting and requires the ability to interact with patients, staff, and physicians in a professional and courteous manner. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
