Job Description

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing program management support to the F-15 Division at Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acquisition program management, with experience in managing full life cycle requirements, subsystems, and equipment. You will be responsible for writing approved milestone documentation, assisting with the development of documents such as Memorandum of Agreements (MOAs), Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs), and Statements of Work (SOWs).

You will also participate in process improvement activities as a member of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Product/Process Improvement Working Groups. Additionally, you will assist in the collection of programmatic inputs from weapons systems program offices for defining, developing, and managing the acquisition and development/upgrades to the various USAF and FMS F-15 aircraft configurations.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of current DoD and AF-specific acquisition regulations, guidelines, and processes. You will also have experience in managing risk, cost, schedule, and performance of various OFP development efforts in a program management support role.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply a full range of acquisition program management philosophy, policies, and procedures to perform a wide range of acquisition management activities in support of the existing and future F-15 Division aircraft programs.
  • Support the acquisition program management of full life cycle requirements, subsystems, and equipment.
  • Write approved milestone documentation.
  • Assist with the development of documents such as Memorandum of Agreements (MOAs), Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs), and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Participate in process improvement activities as a member of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Product/Process Improvement Working Groups.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA)/Master of Science (MS)) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD.
  • OR, BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
  • OR, 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, 8 of which must be in the DoD.

Experience Level: Senior level
