Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of electronic products required for portfolio contracts management oversight.
  • Collect and analyze contract performance parameters, incremental funding status, and deliverables.
  • Provide acquisition/procurement expertise to support operations within the medical-funded Human Performance Research portfolio.
  • Conduct all necessary contracting activities required to support project contract awards within the portfolio.
  • Draw conclusions and work with project/program managers to devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of acquisition effectiveness and compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business systems, finance, project management, systems engineering, computer engineering, information systems, or computer science.
  • Master's degree in business administration/management, finance, project management, systems engineering, computer engineering, information systems, and/or computer science preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated work experience as a DoD contracting support and/or program management in a Department of Defense (DoD) work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • DAWIA career field certification (APDP Level I or higher) in Contracting (CON) or Program Management (PM).
  • Experience working in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) work environment.
Working Conditions

The selected candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with occasional travel to Wright-Patterson AFB for meetings and other work. The employee will be required to sit and talk or hear for extended periods, with occasional walking, standing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
