Job Summary
Info Way Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Technical Services group, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer user account creation and maintenance, evaluate engineering design applications, and manage system management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system problems, identify potential issues, and recommend preventative solutions.
- Resolve engineering application issues, ensure SLA adherence, and improve user experience and satisfaction.
- Identify and analyze system and user needs, write system and user documentation, and develop user training and presentations.
- Work with vendors and technical services personnel to coordinate major technical issues, projects, and communicate expectations.
- Coordinate and perform software and operating system maintenance on workstations and servers.
- Develop effective working relationships with internal and external business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Computer Science/Information Systems Management or related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant work experience in Engineering/IT functions.
- Strong expertise in maintaining MBSE software, Cameo systems modeler, Jazz TeamServer, Teamwork Cloud, Syndeia, IBM Rational DOORS v9.6.1, Rational Publishing Engine, Rational Requisite Pro v, and Rational Rhapsody Tools and Model center.
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows/Linux Server, account creation, Visual Studio, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills, including hardware, software, and basic networking.
- Ability to effectively document processes and set priorities and manage own workload.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in all depths of Sys admin for MBSE systems.
- Creo/Toolkit Development experience is an added advantage.
- Experience managing a team size of 3-5 would be a plus.
Working Conditions
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. The ability to communicate effectively and work in a global delivery environment is essential.
