We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in core infrastructure technologies, including networking, storage, compute, messaging, and mobility systems, as well as cloud-based services and operational security.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining expert technical solutions for all new and existing systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and managing Firm systems, including networks, storage, Exchange, physical and virtual servers, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Overseeing and ensuring the optimal performance of systems.
  • Performing frequent and long-term maintenance, as well as management of user-facing tasks.
  • Providing expert-level support through escalated technical support.
  • Acting as a mentor to other IT internal team members in the areas of network and system operations.
  • Preparing and distributing technical documentation for all assigned systems and projects.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with IT external customers, vendors, and partners.
  • Participating in on-call rotation.

Requirements include:

  • Expert proficiency in network and storage design and maintenance.
  • Expert proficiency in Active Directory architecture and complex administration.
  • Expert proficiency in cyber risk and system hardening techniques.
  • Solid working knowledge of encryption technologies.
  • Expert proficiency in design and implementation of IT infrastructure systems in large-scale and complex Microsoft Windows-based enterprise environments.
  • Expert proficiency in a variety of systems, servers, and protocols.
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge in IP networks design, engineering, and management.
  • Ability to manage enterprise-wide technology infrastructure.
  • Ability to manage multiple infrastructure components.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL and ITSM.
  • Working knowledge of Agile, KanBan, or similar project methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Server and third-party software patch management.
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerShell development for system utilities, automation, and administration.
  • Advanced knowledge of monitoring solutions.
