Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist OR is an allied health professional who plays a crucial role in the surgical care team. This position requires expertise in sterile and aseptic technique, human anatomy, and surgical procedures. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a surgeon or registered nurse to ensure a safe operating room environment and facilitate a physician's performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the operating room environment is safe and equipment functions properly
  • Utilize expertise in sterile and aseptic technique to facilitate surgical procedures
  • Work under the supervision of a surgeon or registered nurse to maximize patient safety
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Graduate Surgical Technology Required
  • Certified Surgical Technologist Required
Work Environment

The Surgical Technologist OR will work in a fast-paced operating room environment, with various shifts available. This position requires flexibility and the ability to work as needed.
