Job Summary
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), you will perform a wide range of patient care activities, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will work under the direct supervision of an RN/Physician/Midlevel Provider and be responsible for maintaining clinical records, administering medications, giving injections, and taking vital signs. You will also assist with office procedures, scheduling appointments, and EKGs.
Requirements
LVN:
- Ability to facilitate communication and problem-solving with patients, families, staff physicians, and administration.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Licensed in the State of Texas as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or possesses a temporary permit to practice vocational nursing in Texas.
- Prefer one year or more of nursing clinical experience.
- Prefer the following skills: the ability to multi-task, problem-solving, organizational skills, experience using an Electronic Medical Record.
- Ability to facilitate communication and problem-solving with patients, families, staff physicians, and administration.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Certified in the State of Texas as a Certified Medical Assistant.
- Prefer one year of medical experience.
- Prefer the following skills: the ability to multi-task, problem-solving, organizational skills, experience using an Electronic Medical Record.
