About the Job

At Quality Talent Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Clinical Specialist - Oncology Expert to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical pharmacist duties, enabling the delivery of optimal pharmacotherapy to patients and facilitating safe, efficacious, and pharmacoeconomically rational use of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expert Clinical Pharmacy Services: Provide daily medication therapy regimen reviews of patients within designated areas of responsibility or targeted populations served.
  • Education and Training: Develop and provide educational programs for pharmacy staff and other hospital personnel, promoting the safe and effective use of medications.
  • Research and Quality Improvement: Participate in developing medication therapy/disease state management protocols and/or dosing guidelines within specialty areas, and lead internal HM quality management and research programs.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below.
  • Experience: Must have one of the following: successful completion of ASHP-accredited postgraduate year 1 (PGY-1) and year 2 (PGY-2) residency training programs or equivalent professional experience, six years of clinical practice experience, or three years of experience as a HM Clinical Specialist.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Must meet HM standards of an ASHP-Qualified Residency Preceptor and hold a Texas Pharmacist license or be eligible for Texas Pharmacist licensure within 90 days.
