We are seeking a Production Team Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will oversee and guide shift personnel to safely implement production strategies for our manufacturing line while driving improvements in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all operations comply with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and practices.
  • Develop and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures for all operational processes.
  • Facilitate proper maintenance handovers and prepare necessary permits.
  • Act as the incident commander during any plant emergencies.
  • Exemplify behaviors that prioritize the safety and health of individuals on-site and the environment.
  • Supervise direct labor by assigning tasks, training staff, providing guidance, and managing time-off requests.
  • Effectively communicate and motivate the team to achieve plant safety, quality, and production objectives.
  • Ensure processes and equipment are operated to meet quality and quantity production targets.
  • Assist operators with troubleshooting and engage engineering or other support as needed.
  • Ensure availability of materials, supplies, and personnel for continuous operations.
  • Foster a culture of learning and improvement through the adoption of root cause analysis methods.
  • Ensure all required activities in their area of focus are documented appropriately.
  • Meet deadlines for documentation completeness, including operational reports and personnel records.
  • Demonstrate leadership aligned with our Core Values.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing in a supervisory capacity or a Bachelor of Science in an Engineering-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and guide colleagues at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
