Production Operations Supervisor

Job Overview: Manage and oversee daily production activities, ensuring that departmental objectives are achieved effectively. Lead the staffing, training, and disciplinary actions for team members. Ensure quality assurance for all products dispatched on a daily basis. Evaluate maintenance and inspection procedures for departmental equipment and liaise with the maintenance team as necessary. Maintain regular communication with the Plant Manager and General Manager to resolve any operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily production processes and set achievable goals.
  • Conduct training and performance evaluations for staff.
  • Implement quality control measures for product output.
  • Coordinate with maintenance for equipment upkeep.
  • Report operational issues to upper management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a production role.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong adaptability and flexibility.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours).
  • Capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.
  • Willingness to obtain COVID vaccination.
