About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Autism Speaks Engagement Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for executing a mass outreach strategy to increase acquisition of run, walk, and cycle participants for our Empower Summit event.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in administrative, fundraising, and/or special events, with a proven track record of working with volunteers. Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills, are essential for success in this role.

You will be responsible for outreach to identified autism communities through phone calls, text messaging, emails, and in-person visits to distribute event materials. You will also work to build upon provided contact lists to identify additional prospects in focus areas such as fitness-related businesses, collegiate and high school athletic departments, and corporate affinity groups.
