About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Coordinator to lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of our Mompreneurs program in Washington D.C. and Montgomery County.

Job Overview

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the program aligns with our strategic objectives and donor requirements, maximizing the impact on the migrant women community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the program's activity schedule, ensuring active participation from beneficiaries.
  • Coordinate workshops, training sessions, and special events, guaranteeing high-quality content delivery.
  • Oversee and support the registration process, from application to final selection.
  • Ensure that tools and resources are available for each program session.
Supervision and Monitoring
  • Monitor participants' progress and provide individualized follow-up.
  • Identify risks and areas for improvement in program execution.
  • Conduct surveys and impact evaluations to measure participant performance and satisfaction.
Resource Management
  • Allocate and manage human, financial, and technical resources for efficient program implementation.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to optimize budget utilization.
  • Supervise volunteers, ensuring they receive appropriate training to support the program.
Community Engagement and Partnerships
  • Develop and strengthen partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and educational entities to enhance program outcomes.
  • Lead recruitment activities in diverse communities to ensure continuous participant enrollment.
  • Represent us at events and meetings to expand the network of strategic partners.
Financial Management and Reporting
  • Prepare and manage the program budget to ensure proper execution.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials required for the program.
  • Identify additional funding opportunities and assist in preparing proposals to secure resources.
  • Produce progress reports and final impact evaluations demonstrating the program's effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business Administration, Education, or related fields.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in managing social programs or projects, ideally focused on entrepreneurship or women's empowerment.
  • Knowledge of business development, financial education, and well-being strategies.
  • Ability to coordinate diverse teams and work collaboratively with empathy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience. The position follows the Eastern Standard Time (EST) work calendar, and regular travel between locations is required.
