About the Role

Pinehurst Medical Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our patient experience team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive exceptional care and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
  • Check in patients, verify and update necessary information, and acknowledge patients and check them out.
  • Advise patients regarding financial obligations, including co-payments, deductible amounts, and insurance eligibility.
  • Maintain the lobby in a neat and orderly manner, including keeping magazines current.
  • Coordinate physician schedules, maintain knowledge of physician specialties and medical practices.
  • Answer telephones, return calls, and provide accurate information as necessary.
  • Handle mail, paperwork, and medical records with accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years of experience in a medical office setting.
