Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
- Check in patients, verify and update necessary information, and acknowledge patients and check them out.
- Advise patients regarding financial obligations, including co-payments, deductible amounts, and insurance eligibility.
- Maintain the lobby in a neat and orderly manner, including keeping magazines current.
- Coordinate physician schedules, maintain knowledge of physician specialties and medical practices.
- Answer telephones, return calls, and provide accurate information as necessary.
- Handle mail, paperwork, and medical records with accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of experience in a medical office setting.
