Special Education Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team at New Story Schools. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in enhancing the educational experience of students with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure students receive tailored support.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies and techniques to promote a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to address students' behavioral and developmental needs.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your expertise in behavior management and techniques.
- Support students in various settings, including special subjects and field trips.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Genuine passion for working with children, demonstrating patience and compassion.
